KRAFT’S KENPO

INSTRUCTORS

 

Sifu Joe Kraft and his wife Nicole Kraft are the master instructors at Kraft’s Kenpo. Both have multiple years of teaching experience.

 

Sifu Joe Kraft; Mr. Kraft started martial arts at the age of 7, taking periodic classes at the YMCA. He started his formal training at age 11 at the Willis Martial Arts Academy. There he received his 1st degree black belt at age 16. At age 18 he left for California and started training in several styles of martial arts.

In California he became a world class tournament competitor and kick boxer. Sifu Kraft fought in hundreds of point karate competitions, ranking in the top of his fighting division. Sifu Kraft also entered the world of full contact kickboxing. Winning 6 amerture fights he moved to proffessional kickboxing with 17 bouts. He went undefeated with 14 knockouts.  After a successful career of competing, he became an assistant instructor at Claudio's Kempo Karate.

After moving back to Ohio in 2000, Mr. Kraft started teaching a few friends in his basement and expanded to a public martial arts studio.

Sifu Kraft currently holds the rank of 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, 2nd degree black belts in Shorinji Kempo, American Karate and Kajakenbo and a 5th degree black belt in American Kenpo.  Sifu Kraft is also an inducted member of the USA Martial Artist Hall of Fame.  

 

Nicole Kraft; Mrs. Kraft started her martial arts career at age 13 at  Willis Martial Arts. She quickly became a fierce competitor. Traveling and winning trophies all over the U.S.  She earned her 1st black belt at age 18 in American Karate. She continued to compete in women’s black belt division and has won many tournaments nationwide. The 6 foot trophys in the front dojo windows are all hers.

Mrs. Kraft still studies martial arts and is great at helping women and girls develop into great martial artists. She currently holds the ranks of 1st degree black belt in American Karate, 2nd degree black belt in American Kenpo.


Lee Cooley:
 Sensea Cooley holds the rank of Black Belt in Brazilian Jujitsu. This particular style lead him to a successful career as a Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fighter. With experience in Muay Tai and Karate, he is one of our top instructors for TEAM BUNDORI!  Sensea Cooley is also our top instructor of our Bundori Ju Jitsu Academy.

Adam Rueckert: Mr. Rueckert  currently holds the ranks of Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do, Judo and American Kenpo. He has won many Judo tournaments and has competed in point tournaments.  He is a key instructor for Kenpo Karate and our MMA Team BUNDORI.

Shawn Daniels: Shawn holds the rank of black belt in Karate and is working toward his Kenpo black belt. He also has entered the cage several times. He helps teach in the Kenpi class and the MMA class. Shawn is a valuable instructor with great skill.

Louis Heinkel: Louis is a Black belt in American Kenpo and a Brown belt in Aikido. Mr. Heinkel is excellent at personal defense. He has been in Martial Arts for 40 years!
